We had an excellent experience at Whiskey River. We went on a nice day and ate outdoors. It’s on a super cute street that in the summer has nice live music and people come out to dance. We got two great drinks that had beautiful presentation, and tried the fries specialty wings on the menu. It was all so delicious and fun. Great elevated bar food - great for anyone looking to catch a game and eat something yummy. Highly recommend!

Well, what to say about this place apart from Amazing. 1st time in America, so 1st bar in America and it was an instant hit, Nate made myself and my partner feel so welcome (as did some of the locals). The beer selection was brilliant, plenty of sports etc. Nate was a complete gentleman giving information on his drinks available, giving tasters and always having a smile. We have 6 nights in Peekskill and will be back nearly every day.

First time trying this place out and it didn’t disappoint. Our waiter/bartender Nathan was very attentive and made sure our needs were met the whole time. The food and drinks were on point and tasty. The vibe inside was modern and classy. We will be back for sure.

Celebrated our son’s 22nd birthday here tonight. Perfect spot for a pub on N. Division St., in the heart of Peekskill. Everything was wonderful from the service, to the apps , to our meals. Nathan our server & bartender was great & very attentive. He even made a special drink for my 78 year old mom who is quite picky & she loved it. The rest of us were drinking beer as it goes well with the wings & Nathan kept it flowing. The wings were the best, we tried the Buffalo & the sticky Asian. Yum! The pretzel bites were a big hit too, very soft & tasty & we loved the pierogis! Some of what we ordered : the slider stack, the chicken & waffle stack (cool presentation), & the mother clucker chicken sandwich. Everything was delish & everything came out piping hot! We were a party of 5 & we all said we would definitely be back! Kudos to Nathan & Whisky River!

Ok I started with 5 stars before I even got my burger based on my drink, appetizer and service! But then when my juicy burger came with the homemade BACON!!!! Wow!! Cauliflower Buffalo bites were delicious!! I had the Fight ya naked and The Diablo drinks! Both great! Very satisfied with all the food. Glad we stopped here for lunch! Will def be back again. Right in the heart of Peekskill, great burger bar with great drinks!

We stopped in on 5/9/2025 after my son's graduation. Initially we were just going to eat in the bar area and they gave us the option to sit in the dining area and have a back section to ourselves. Staff was so accommodating and welcoming for our party of 13. Or server, Michelle, was a ball of energy, kindness and attentiveness. She didn't seem frazzled or overwhelmed at any moment helping us. She may have been the only server at the time and kudos to her for taking care of us and the other tables. The food...top notch. Portions were huge and everything was delicious. From the calamari, nachos, burgers, pulled pork and chicken, wings, etc. We all shared some bites and nothing disappointed. Hats off to the cooking staff as well for being on top of our orders. Everything was made correctly and came out expeditiously. We'll be back.

Whiskey River in Peekskill is an absolute gem. The Up the River Burger was insane—perfectly juicy, layered with candied bacon, beer cheese, and fried shallots. The wings are next level too—especially the Truff Buff and Blueberry Cue flavors. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the whiskey list. Over 100 options, including heavy-hitters like Pappy Van Winkle and Redbreast 27. Bartenders really know their stuff and the cocktails (highly recommend the Smoked Old Fashioned) are expertly crafted. Add in friendly staff, karaoke nights, and a welcoming atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why this has become one of my favorite spots in Westchester. Whether you're a whiskey lover, foodie, or just want a good night out—don’t miss this place.

I just had what may be the most solid chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Let’s start with the chicken itself. Most places will Try to fool you by giving you an extra large piece of chicken that is cooked unevenly. These guys give you two Cutlets of chicken that are grilled to perfection. Let’s move onto the bacon. We’ve all been to those restaurants that give you the cheapest, lowest quality piece of bacon they can find. Not Whiskey River! The bacon is thick and meaty with the perfect amount of fat to give it flavor. I’m normally not a fan of pickles on the chicken sandwich, but it really works in this case. Now finally, the bread. The Bread is a wonderfully toasted bun. Nothing pretentious with a bunch of seeds on it, just a rock, solid bun the bartender, I think his name was David, was wonderfully attentive and always made sure my beer glass was full. They are definitely deserving of five stars!
